Los Angeles 405 Freeway Closure - Carmageddon?

Where did everyone go? This was the weekend that Los Angeles was supposed to implode!!! A freeway overpass had to be taken down and one of the busiest freeways in the country the 405 would be closed for two days. Well the media did a great job of scaring the city, and it looks like a good percentage of people left town. Flying over Los Angeles yesterday, it was pretty impressive how empty this city had become. All the freeways, beaches, parks were empty.
