San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station

The San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station is located in San Diego County, just south of San Clemente. It houses 2 reactors and facility to store spent fuel. It uses sea water to keep the reactors cooled. It is designed to withstand a 7.0 earthquake.
