Sixth Street Viaduct - Los Angeles
The Sixth Street Viaduct is a viaduct bridge that connects the Arts District in Downtown Los Angeles with the Boyle Heights neighborhood that was built in 1932. The Caltrans bridge survey in 1986 found the 6th Street Viaduct eligible for inclusion in the National Register of Historic Places. Demolition of the bridge is scheduled to begin January 8, 2016 and a new bridge is set to be completed in 2018.
